Diabetic Foot Ulcer

Diabetic foot ulcer (DFU) is the most typical complication of diabetes mellitus with a poor prognosis due to micro and macrovascular changes as a result of uncontrolled sugar level. Ayurveda has considered such ulcers as Dushta Vrana and many modalities like oral medication, blood-letting, wound debridement etc. have been advocated for their management.
