With over 30 years of distinguished service in the field of Ayurveda, Dr. M V Syamalan has served as a Chief Medical Officer (NC) in the AYUSH Department, Kerala Government. He is a graduate of Vaidyaratnam Ayurveda College, Thrissur, where he earned his Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree in 1987.
Dr. Syamalan’s expertise spans various medical areas, including orthopedics, patient health education, and healthcare management. His extensive career includes key roles at numerous Ayurvedic dispensaries and hospitals across Kerala, where he has made significant contributions to clinical education and patient care.
Dr. Syamalan is known for his leadership in healthcare administration, overseeing the development and implementation of patient care strategies that enhance clinical outcomes. His skills in differential diagnosis and direct patient care have earned him a reputation as a highly capable and compassionate healthcare provider.
After retiring from government service in 2020, Dr. Syamalan continues to be actively involved in his own clinic, bringing his vast experience to benefit a broader community.
